Women International Film Festival (WIFF)

Women Through Film brings you Pakistan’s first Women International Film festival (WIFF), which will be held on the 11th and 12th of March, 2017. WIFF is our flagship project that aims to present an opportunity for women to network, screen their films, and appreciate the accomplishments of fellow women, while at the same time, bringing awareness by highlighting women’s multifaceted roles in the society.

The film festival will showcase the films made by women, about women, to highlight their social issues. It will serve as a confidence boost by celebrating the filming efforts by females and will help in reconnecting them for a greater cause.

WIFF is going to be a two-day event showing films received by female filmmakers from around the world on the themes of Gender Equity, Violence Against Women, and Women of Wonder, in the form of short films, documentaries, public service announcements, and animated films. The event will be divided into the following segments:
➢ 48-hour shoot-out competition
➢ Films’ Screening
➢ Panel Discussion
➢ 2-Day Grand Exhibition
➢ Closing Musical Concert
